My birthday was April 1st, and I can hardly believe another year has come and gone! What a year it has been. I would definitely have to say my 19th year was the best one yet.
This year, I have watched my family’s ministry grow, seen God go above and beyond to supply our needs, and grown up a lot. The most life changing thing that has happened for me this year was becoming a mom. I’ve gained new friends, and met so many new people. I’ve traveled more this year than I ever have, and been to lots of new places. I finally started this blog, and I’m super excited about it. I’ve learned so much, and I’m thankful for the things God has shown me. This year has been full of pure joy!
Over the course of my life, it has always been a joke in my family that I make a huge deal of my birthday. I literally used to coordinate my own birthday dinners… but over the years I’ve grown up and haven’t made too much of it! But my amazing husband always goes above and beyond for me on my birthday! This year he rented us a house at Myrtle Beach for a few days, and we got to spend them doing my favorite things – shopping and eating! He spoiled me for sure! We went to all of my favorite places, and the best part of all was spending time with the two people I love the most!
My goals for my 20th year are to grow stronger in my relationship with the Lord, invest in my marriage, and become a better, more patient mother. I want to help our ministry grow, and find new and better ways to help minister to others. I want to try new things, and go out of my comfort zone a little more. I hope to build my blog into something bigger, so that I can reach more people.
I’m so thankful to each person that wished me a happy birthday. My friends and family made it extra special, and I definitely felt the love on my social media. I can’t believe how truly blessed I am! I can’t wait to see what this year brings, and I can’t wait to share it with you all!
