Hey friends! So as you all know, Cooper turned 1 last month, and I decided it was time for him to get a haircut. Not because I was ready to part with his baby locks, but because his hair was getting in his eyes, and was driving both of us nuts! I constantly had to push it out of his eyes, and it was starting to look like he had a mullet! But we didn’t get him one because Tyler said he didn’t need one… so we waited!

We talked about it a little more, and finally Tyler gave in and said it was time for him to get his hair cut. I was happy to take him, but I won’t lie. I was a little sad too. Everyone says after babies get their first haircuts they don’t look like babies anymore.

We finally got the chance to take him to get it cut! I had done a bit of research on places to take him, and found that “Pigtails & Crewcuts” was a popular place for babies to get their first cuts. So that’s where we decided to take Cooper.

Once we got there I checked Cooper in, then went to sit in the waiting room, and he played with the trains and toys they had. We waited for a few minutes and then they called him to come sit in the cutest little taxi cab seat. He was so excited to sit in the fun chair, even though he kept eyeing the police car beside him. The sweet lady named Jasmine started blowing bubbles with him, and he was having so much fun. Once she started cutting his hair, he started looking at me like, “Mama what is she doing to me?” He sat pretty still for a little while. He was really enjoying seeing himself in the mirror. About halfway through, he started getting a little antsy, so I gave him his sippy cup, and he sat still the rest of the time. After it was over, she took his picture, and they printed it out and gave it to us in a cute little card along with a few pieces of his hair. It was the cutest thing!

Cooper did so well, and his hair turned out so cute! He looks so handsome, and a little less like a baby. Since he was so good, we took him to Jumpin’ Jax with some friends after. I’ve attached some pictures below! I can’t believe how quickly he is growing up. He gets smarter and sweeter every day.
